“Technology should be a tool, not a burden or a health risk”  | Dr Aric Sigman

We are a pro-social Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), established on Remembrance Day 2015 to warn of the battle humanity now has on its hands regarding the increasingly widespread misuse of Digital Age technology:

Digital Revolution vs. digital revulsion

DigitalDisconnect.org functions primarily as an awareness raising, information sharing, and networking platform. We help put concerned citizens in touch with resources that certain special interest groups and ‘authorities’ would rather they didn’t see – bridging the disconnect between:

Digital fantasy vs. digital reality

Digital Disconnect is a deliberately ambiguous play on words. We aim to encourage consumers to overcome the cognitive disconnect regarding potential harms of conditioned use of tech that is meant to improve our lives and to unplug and disconnect from time to time, striking a healthier balance between:

Digital delectation vs. digital difficulties

Digital Deflection is inevitable.  Counter-progressive oligarchic forces have, throughout history, variously “attempted to suffocate scientific discovery using formalism and the fetishism of authoritative professional opinion”. Evidence for this ongoing phenomenon grows clearer by the day.

We are an IEMFA supporting organisation. We fully anticipate that particular interests will seek to dismiss, discount, discredit, degrade, or destroy our message/its authors, and are prepared for such eventualities.

“True glory consists in doing what deserves to be written, in writing what deserves to be read, and in so living as to make the world happier and better for our living in it”Pliny the Elder

Whatever happens to those brave enough to stand up to trillion dollar industries, and their deep networks of captured agencies and crony capitalist facilitators across all three sectors, the tide is turning. The truth will out:

Digital direction vs. digital deliverance
